Cycling day trip from Karpacz to Špindlerův Mlýn

Get ready for a real mountain adventure! This cross-border cycling route kicks off in Karpacz, a charming Polish town popular for mountain hikes and its quirky wooden Church of Wang. From there, you’ll climb into the Karkonosze Mountains, with nearly 900 meters of ascent—so make sure your legs (and brakes!) are ready.

The route rolls mostly along quiet roads and forest tracks. Expect beautiful views, especially as you approach the highest point—over 1,190 meters above sea level. Since about a quarter of the route’s surface isn't fully paved, things might get a bit bumpy in places, but most of your ride will be speedy on smooth asphalt.
