Quick ride by bicycle from Gdynia to Wielki Kack

This ride starts in the vibrant coastal city of Gdynia, known for its modernist architecture and bustling seafront. From here, you’ll set out on a roughly 10-kilometer route to the quieter neighborhood of Wielki Kack. Most of the ride follows paved surfaces—expect a mix of smooth asphalt, paving stones, and some concrete, ideal for city bikes and hybrids.

The route is mostly on paths and designated cycleways, so you’ll avoid heavy traffic for the most part, rolling through green spaces and peaceful suburbs. There’s a fair bit of gentle climbing (almost 150 meters of ascent), so get ready for a short workout, but the scenic views over Gdynia and into the lush outskirts make it worthwhile.

Wielki Kack marks the southern edge of Gdynia and is a great area for exploring the Tricity Landscape Park, an expansive green lung just outside the city. All in all, expect a fun, relaxed ride combining urban sights with a touch of countryside.
