Cycling day trip from Elblag to Tolkmicko

This cycling route takes you from Elbląg to Tolkmicko, carving a scenic path through the heart of northern Poland. Starting in Elbląg, a city with a charming old town and a history dating back to medieval times, you’ll soon leave the urban bustle behind for peaceful tracks and quiet country roads. About 30 km separate you from Tolkmicko, with gentle rolling hills along the way—keep an eye out for a few short climbs, as you’ll be gaining and losing a bit over 200 meters in elevation.

Much of this ride traces rural paths and mixed surfaces, so a gravel or trekking bike is a perfect choice. There’s hardly any traffic: most of your journey will be along tracks and quiet roads, with lots of open farmland, forests, and the occasional lakeside view.

Once you roll into Tolkmicko, you’re greeted by the shores of the Vistula Lagoon—a peaceful place to wrap up your ride and enjoy some local fish. Make sure to explore the little port and maybe catch the sunset over the water before heading back!
