Cycling day trip from Bydgoszcz to Torun

This ride takes you from Bydgoszcz to Toruń, two of Poland’s prettiest cities along the Vistula River. Covering about 54 km, it’s a pretty flat and manageable route, with just under 200 meters of climbing—perfect for a chill day out or a sporty afternoon. You’ll mostly cruise on smooth, paved surfaces and dedicated cycleways, so it’s great for hybrid or road bikes.

Bydgoszcz is known for its beautiful waterfront and the Venice-like Mill Island downtown. As you pedal south-east, you’ll pass through quiet countryside and some charming villages—keep an eye out for fields, forests, and maybe even a stork or two!
