By bicycle from Bielsko-Biala to Bystra

Hop on your bike for a scenic ride from Bielsko-Biała down to Bystra, a lovely 10-kilometer journey just south of town. This route mixes peaceful, quiet roads and paths, so you’ll find plenty of spots to enjoy the mountain air and gentle countryside.

You’ll start in Bielsko-Biała, a historic city nicknamed the “Little Vienna” for its beautiful Austro-Hungarian architecture and buzzing café culture. From there, you’ll gently ascend around 130 meters—enough to get your legs working but nothing too extreme—towards the tranquil outskirts.

Expect mostly paved and asphalt surfaces, though keep an eye out: some stretches might be a bit rougher or have incomplete paving. As you cruise along, you’ll skirt wooded areas and probably spot the rolling hills leading to the nearby Beskid Mountains. The finish line is Bystra, a charming village known as a gateway to mountain hiking trails and peaceful retreats.
