Bikepacking from Bestwinka to Szczucin

If you’re up for a long-distance ride through southern Poland, the route from Bestwinka to Szczucin is definitely one you’ll remember! Starting off in Bestwinka, a peaceful village close to Bielsko-Biała, you’ll pedal through 232 km of mostly paved surfaces – think country lanes, dedicated cycleways, and the occasional quiet backroad. With just over 300 meters of climbing, this ride won’t beat you up, and you’ll be treated to a gentle, mostly flat landscape, perfect for cruising.

You’ll weave past charming small towns and plenty of farmland, catching glimpses of rural life along the way. About 85% of the route is on good pavement, while a small percentage puts your tires on gravel or paving stones – just enough to keep things interesting.

Your destination, Szczucin, sits on the banks of the Vistula river and is known for its unique Road Museum (the only one in Poland!), celebrating the country’s road-building legacy.
