By bicycle from Riva del Garda to Arco

This gentle 7.4 km ride kicks off in Riva del Garda, a stunning lakeside town at the northern tip of Lake Garda, famed for its sparkling waterfront, mountain vistas, and lively piazzas. From there, your route mostly follows smooth cycleways and quiet roads, gliding through beautiful scenery with minimal climbs—just enough ascent (29 meters!) to keep things interesting without breaking a sweat.

You'll wind your way north, passing olive groves and the Sarca River, and might even catch a glimpse of ancient ruins and medieval towers as you approach Arco. The last few kilometers deliver you right into the heart of this charming small town, known for its dramatic limestone cliffs (famous among rock climbers) and its elegant castle perched above the old center.

Most of the path is paved and well-maintained, so it’s great for all types of bikes and perfect for a relaxed afternoon spin. Along the way, don’t miss the chance to pause for a gelato or snap some epic mountain photos—it's pure Trentino cycling at its best!
