Bikepacking from Canazei to Cortina d'Ampezzo

This is an epic ride right in the heart of the Dolomites! Starting in Canazei, a charming resort village known for its ski slopes and as a gateway to the Sella Ronda, you'll wind your way deep into some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in Italy. The route to Cortina d’Ampezzo covers about 235 km, so it's a real adventure – think all-day endurance, with plenty of altitude gain (over 5,200 meters!), and big descents too.

You'll be riding mostly on smooth cycleways and quiet roads, though there are sections of gravel to spice things up. Elevation tops out around 2,000 meters, so get ready for some truly panoramic views and possibly a little alpine weather.

You finish in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the “Queen of the Dolomites,” famous for its glamorous ski scene and as a former Winter Olympics host.
