By bicycle from Pula to Fažana

This is an easygoing, scenic ride from historic Pula to the charming seaside town of Fažana—a perfect route for a relaxing day out on two wheels! Starting in Pula, you’ll be rolling out from a city known for its impressive Roman amphitheater (definitely worth a quick look!), then heading northwest towards the coast.

The route clocks in at just under 12 kilometers, making it accessible for most riders. Expect mostly quiet roads and some tracks, with the surface being around 40% paved (mostly asphalt and concrete), and sections where the surface detail is unknown—so a hybrid or sturdy city bike might be your best bet.

Enjoy gentle climbs (only about 81 meters of ascent) and a few breezy descents as you meander through Istrian landscapes, passing olive groves and glimpses of the Adriatic. Your destination, Fažana, is a laid-back fishing village famous for its waterfront promenade and as the ferry point to Brijuni National Park. Park your bike and reward yourself with some gelato or fresh seafood by the sea!
