Quick ride by bicycle from Nin to Zadar

Set off from the charming old town of Nin—a place famous for its sandy beaches and historic salt pans—on a pleasant ride to the heart of Zadar. This 18.5-kilometer route takes you through mostly quiet roads and cycleways, so it’s an easygoing journey whether you’re rolling solo or with friends.

You’ll pedal through some lovely Dalmatian countryside with gentle climbs (nothing over 120 meters ascent in total), and plenty of smooth stretches. Most of the way is nicely paved, but keep your eyes open for the odd unpaved or gravel patch—just enough to add some variety without making things rough.

Approaching Zadar, you’ll be rewarded with views of the Adriatic and, if you time it right, the city’s famous sunsets. Don’t miss Zadar’s iconic Sea Organ and historic Roman forum when you arrive! This ride is an awesome way to link two fascinating coastal towns without breaking too much of a sweat.
