By bicycle from Banjol to Kampor

This scenic ride takes you from Banjol, a charming coastal town on the island of Rab known for its lively beaches and waterfront promenade, all the way to the tranquil village of Kampor. The route is just over 11 km, but packs in a nice bit of variety, with around 315 meters of climbing—expect some gentle hills and lovely views along the way.

You’ll pedal across a mix of surfaces: a good chunk is paved or asphalt, but there are sections of gravel and unpaved track, so wider tires and a sense of adventure will come in handy. Most of your journey sticks to quiet roads and access tracks, with only a short stretch on busier roads. That means you can mostly relax, soak in the Mediterranean scenery, and maybe take a quick detour to one of Rab’s hidden coves.

As you reach Kampor, you’ll notice its laid-back vibe and surrounding pine forests—quite a change from bustling Banjol. It’s a great spot to wind down, maybe with a swim at the famous Suha Punta beach or a coffee at a local konoba. All in all, this route is a perfect blend of coastal charm and peaceful countryside!
