By bicycle from San Lorenzo to Fernando de la Mora

A short, friendly hop across Gran Asunción: roll out from San Lorenzo—known as Paraguay’s “Ciudad Universitaria” thanks to the National University campus—and head slightly northwest toward Fernando de la Mora.

The route is about 7.4 km and mostly on quiet access and neighborhood roads, with smooth asphalt and concrete under your wheels (great for any bike; almost no cobblestones). Expect gentle ups and downs—around 50 m of total climbing—nothing too taxing, just a couple of mild rises between residential blocks. Watch for speed bumps and frequent intersections, and you’ll be fine.

You’ll finish in Fernando de la Mora, a largely residential city split into Zona Norte and Zona Sur and an easygoing neighbor to Asunción—perfect for a coffee stop or a quick bite. Ideal for a relaxed spin or a low‑stress commute between the two cities. Bring water and a light if you’re riding near dusk.
