Begin your route by heading east on 43rd and hop over to Nicollet Ave. Take a left on Nicollet and travel north to east 38th st. Go right on 38th and cross over 35W. Continue on to Park Avenue south. Go left on Park Ave. This is a busy street, but there is an ample bike lane and Park takes you all the way into downtown Minneapolis. Once you get into downtown, and at South 10th st, Park ave. dog legs to the right. Continue to follow Park through downtown to Washington Avenue. Cross over Washington, still on Park to South 2nd Street. Take a left on 2nd and a right on Portland one block later. Portland will take you right to the stone arch bridge. This bridge is closed to auto traffic and is a fun way to cross the river by bike. It is not featured on this map, but it is there and you can't miss it. At the end of the bridge is SE 6th avenue. Go up the hill on SE 6th avenue and 3 blocks later is 4th street southeast. Go left on 4th Street southeast to your destination.

1.  Head north on 34th to 54th St. 2.  Take a right onto 54th St and head east to Minnehaha. Take Minnehaha Ave's bike lane northwest to Lake Street. Cross Lake Street as Minnehaha Ave changes to 26th Ave S and continue north to 26th Street. At this point you can either continue on 26th all the way through to Riverside and 26th.  26th is safe, but there is no bike lane.  The route that is mapped is on more bike paths, as follows Take a left onto 26th St. and look for the light rail trail bike path (which appears right before Hiawatha Ave). Take a right onto the trail, and follow the path alongside the Light Rail to the Cedar/Riverside station. 7.  Just past the Cedar/Riverside station, take a right onto 15, and a quick right onto 6th. 8.  Follow 6th to 20th and take a left. 9.  Take the bike lane on 20th to Riverside, and take a right. 10.  Riverside sometimes has high traffic so you can either walk your bike on the sidewalk the last few blocks or choose to bike up to Fairview.

Begin Route by heading North on 34th Ave. Turn Right onto 50th St and proceed east in the bike lane. Turn left and proceed north in the bike lane on 38th Ave S. Turn right on Minnehaha Parkway.  Follow around roundabout to Minnehaha Ave, and continue  north in the bike lane. Minnehaha Ave becomes 26th Ave S. Continue North. Veer left and follow Minnehaha. Watch for trail crossing and turn left onto trail. Turn right at trail intersection and follow the trail North alongside the light rail. Turn left into bike lane on 11th. Veer right onth S 5th st and follow around Metrodome. Turn left onto 4th Ave S. Turn right onto 7th st. Arrival.

Take a right onto the trail, and follow the path until it ends at 11th Avenue. 7.  Take a left onto 11th, and follow the bike lane to 5th St. 8.  Take a right onto 5th street.  (note: 5th St is without a bike lane but traffic should be manageable.  Also, veer to the left of the LRT once given the option to choose a side of the tracks). 9.  Take 5th up to Marquette, and take a right into the bike lane. 10.  Take Marquette to 4th St and your destination.
