Quick ride by bicycle from Koptëvo to Levoberezhnyy

This easy-going ride takes you from Koptëvo, a laid-back residential district in the north of Moscow known for its leafy parks and old railway station, up to Levoberezhnyy, a peaceful neighborhood near the banks of the Khimki Reservoir.

You’ll roll mostly on asphalt and paved roads, with the route following quiet and access roads for a relaxed experience—great if you’re not a fan of hectic city traffic. There’s just a gentle 35-meter climb along the way, so it's a breeze for most riders. Expect the scenery to slowly shift from urban to greener spaces as you approach Levoberezhnyy, which is famous for its riverside walks and chilled-out atmosphere.

While there aren’t any official cycleways, traffic stays light for most of the route, making it a good option if you want to explore the north side of Moscow at a leisurely pace. Pack a snack and maybe finish with a stroll by the water or a coffee in Levoberezhnyy!
