Quick ride by bicycle from Dorogomilovo to Taganskiy

This ride takes you from Dorogomilovo, a lively Moscow district known for its grand Soviet-era architecture and riverside views, over to the dynamic neighborhood of Taganskiy. The route is just over 18 km and should take you a bit over an hour at a leisurely pace—unless you’re taking lots of photo stops!

You’ll mostly roll along paved and asphalt roads, with a nice mix of quiet streets and separate cycleways. The path winds through central Moscow, so expect to catch glimpses of the city’s iconic skyline and cross the Moscow River. There’s a little ascent (nothing too crazy—about 145 meters up, slightly less down), with a brief taste of classic paving stones and urban buzz as you approach Taganskiy.
