Quick ride by bicycle from es Camp de Mar to Santa Ponsa

This scenic ride takes you from the peaceful resort of Camp de Mar to the lively coastal town of Santa Ponsa—a perfect journey if you want to explore Mallorca’s beautiful southwest by bike.

You’ll head out from Camp de Mar’s sheltered bay, famous for its lovely sandy beach and iconic restaurant on the water. The route is just under 11 km, with a couple of good climbs (nearly 245 meters of ascent!), so expect to get your legs working early on. Thankfully, most of the route follows quiet roads and some cycleways, meaning you can relax and take in the Mediterranean scenery—think pine forests, sweeping sea views, and the occasional glimpse of golf courses.

As you roll into Santa Ponsa, you’ll notice the change in atmosphere: this bustling hub has a big sandy beach, plenty of places to refuel, and a storied past—it’s where King Jaume I landed in 1229 to kick off the reconquest of Mallorca.
