Quick ride by bicycle from Praga Południe to Wola

This ride takes you from Praga Południe, a lively and rapidly changing district on Warsaw’s east bank, all the way over to the energetic neighborhood of Wola on the west side. Covering just over 12 km, this mostly paved route is super bike-friendly, with over half the journey on dedicated cycleways and quieter side streets.

Starting in Praga Południe, you’ll weave through areas famous for their pre-war tenements and hip cafes, crossing the Vistula River as the Warsaw skyline comes into view. The route gently climbs a total of about 54 meters—so nothing too taxing—before rolling into Wola. Once a gritty industrial area, Wola is now a hotspot for new architecture, cool hangouts, and Warsaw’s business hub.

Expect a solid mix of urban scenery: a little greenery, some classic Warsaw cobbles, modern infrastructure, and city vibes throughout. With a little over two hours of relaxed pedaling, it’s a perfect way to see how the city connects east to west.
