By bicycle from Krościenko nad Dunajcem to Szczawnica

This route takes you from the charming riverside town of Krościenko nad Dunajcem to the spa town Szczawnica—a lovely 6.3 km ride mostly along quiet asphalt roads. Krościenko sits at the foot of the Pieniny Mountains, known for its wooden architecture and outdoor vibes, making it a popular starting point for exploring the region.

Hop on your bike and follow gentle hills with a couple of mild climbs (nothing too intimidating), cruising mostly on quiet backroads with almost no traffic. About a quarter of the route may have some rougher or less-defined surfaces but is still entirely doable. Tree-lined sections, peeks of the Dunajec River, and mountain views keep the scenery fresh.
