Cycling day trip from Brixton Hill to Brighton

Starting off in Brixton Hill, you'll begin in one of London's most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods. Known for its lively music scene and diverse food offerings, it’s the perfect spot to grab a quick bite before you set off.

The ride to Brighton covers a decent 111.5 kilometers, so it’s for sure a day trip! The route is predominantly on quiet roads (52%) and cycleways (31%), keeping you away from the hustle and bustle of traffic as much as possible. You’ll be navigating a bit of a mixed bag of surfaces, primarily asphalt, which is thankfully about half the journey. Make sure your tires are ready for a short stint on gravel too.
