By bicycle from Lunetten to Utrecht

This fun little ride takes you from the peaceful neighborhood of Lunetten, on Utrecht’s southern edge, right into the vibrant center of Utrecht itself. Lunetten is known for its abundance of green parks and its relaxed, family-friendly vibe—perfect for a chill start to your route.

You'll roll mostly on paved cycleways and quiet roads, weaving through leafy residential areas before easing into the heart of Utrecht. There's a gentle ascent, but nothing that’ll challenge your legs too much—just 9 meters up over about 5 kilometers.

Expect most of your journey to be on dedicated bike paths (this is the Netherlands after all!), with some sections on quiet local roads and the occasional paving stone stretch.
