Cycling day trip from Songgangdong to Daejeon

This ride takes you from Songgang-dong, a laid-back neighborhood on the northern edge of Daejeon, straight into the energetic heart of the city itself. Covering about 24 km, the route is mostly paved (no gravel surprises here) and wonderfully smooth for the most part, with an easy descent overall—so expect some chill coasting as you get closer to downtown.

You'll spend nearly the whole ride (over 80%!) on a dedicated cycleway, meaning less time dodging cars and more time soaking in the scenery. Since there’s only around 90 meters of climbing and over twice that in gentle downhill, it’s a comfortable ride for most cyclists.
