Cycling day trip from Kyiv to Prolisky

Ready for a ride out of the capital? This 36 km cycling route starts right in Kyiv—Ukraine’s vibrant heart, full of golden domes, bustling coffee spots, and riverside views—and winds east to the quieter suburb of Prolisky. The route is mostly flat with a gentle descent (so you’ll get some easy cruising!), and maxes out at just under 184 meters elevation.

You’ll experience a real mix of riding surfaces: plenty of smooth asphalt through Kyiv, blending into mixed and sometimes undefined surfaces once you head out of town. Expect to spend a good chunk of time on quiet roads and tracks, with occasional stretches on dedicated cycleways and pedestrian areas—so there’s a bit of everything, but mostly peaceful riding away from car traffic.
