Cycling day trip from Dnipro to Aviatorske

This scenic ride takes you from the heart of Dnipro—one of Ukraine’s largest industrial and cultural cities—out south to Aviatorske, a quieter suburb known for its connection to the local aviation scene. Covering just over 25 km, the route is pleasantly varied: you'll pedal mainly along quiet and access roads, so traffic won’t be much of a concern.

Leaving Dnipro, enjoy a mix of urban buzz and green escape as you pass through neighborhoods and open areas. There are a few rolling hills along the way (you’ll climb and descend about 300 meters in total!), so get ready for some easy workout and nice views.

About half the route’s surface is paved or asphalt, but expect some rougher patches—around 3% is gravel and the surface can be mixed—so a sturdy hybrid bike is a good bet. The finish line, Aviatorske, is a chill spot surrounded by fields and, true to its name, not far from the local airport.
