By bicycle from Szeged to Deszk

This is a great, easygoing ride from Szeged to Deszk, perfect if you’re looking for a scenic yet relaxed outing. Starting in Szeged—Hungary’s lively university city known for its beautiful Art Nouveau architecture—you’ll quickly find yourself pedaling along smooth, mostly asphalt cycleways (about 97% paved!) that make for a stress-free journey.

The route covers just under 10 km, with barely any hills (we’re talking about 13 meters of ascent total), so it’s beginner-friendly and also ideal if you want to just cruise and enjoy the countryside views. Over half of the way is on dedicated cycle paths and quiet roads, so you won’t have to worry much about car traffic.
