By bicycle from Treptow to Berlin Schöneberg

This ride takes you from Treptow, a relaxed and leafy Berlin neighborhood known for its expansive Treptower Park and the famous Soviet War Memorial, straight over to bustling Schöneberg, a district celebrated for its vibrant café culture and rich LGBTQ+ history.

You’ll pedal for just over 8 km, mostly on smooth, paved surfaces—plenty of asphalt and a good stretch of those classic Berlin paving stones. The route is super cyclist-friendly: nearly half is on dedicated cycleways, and you’ll spend much of the journey on quiet roads and paths, avoiding busy streets almost entirely.

The landscape’s pretty flat, with just a gentle climb and descent here and there to keep things interesting. On a sunny day, this is a perfect link between two quintessentially Berlin neighborhoods, each with its own unique vibe and plenty to explore at either end.
