By bicycle from Wola to Praga Południe

Here’s a fun city ride that takes you from lively Wola to the vibrant streets of Praga Południe—two of Warsaw’s most interesting neighborhoods. Start your pedal in Wola, an area known for its dynamic mix of modern and historical, with cool cafes and plenty of post-war history.

The route’s just over 10.5 km, mostly on smooth paved and asphalt surfaces—the kind you barely notice while cruising. About two-thirds of your ride is along cycleways, so it’s safe and pretty straightforward. You’ll weave through some quieter roads and residential streets, catching glimpses of Warsaw’s changing cityscape as you cross over toward the east side.

There’s a gentle ascent and a bit more descent, making this a mostly breezy ride, and before you know it, you’ll roll into Praga Południe. This district is famous for its eclectic architecture, street art, and the ever-popular Saska Kępa area with its leafy avenues and delicious local bakeries.
