Quick ride by bicycle from Ochota to Ursus

This relaxed cycling route connects two distinct districts of Warsaw: Ochota and Ursus. Starting in Ochota—a lively neighborhood famous for its parks and pre-war architecture—you’ll head west on a ride that’s just a little over 10 km. The whole route is fully paved, with a nice mix of classic asphalt and charming paving stones, and you’ll barely notice any hills.

You’ll mostly follow dedicated cycleways (about two-thirds of your ride), so it’s beginner-friendly and low-stress. Expect quiet residential roads and peaceful paths as you move out of the inner city buzz into the quieter, family-oriented Ursus district. Named after a historic tractor factory, Ursus is now known for its green spaces and post-industrial vibe.
