Cycling day trip from Niedzica to Kluszkowce

This scenic cycling route takes you from the historic Niedzica, best known for its fairytale castle perched above Lake Czorsztyn, all the way north to the cozy mountain village of Kluszkowce. Covering about 27 km, the ride weaves mostly on smooth asphalt with plenty of dedicated cycleways and quiet roads, which means you won’t have to worry about heavy traffic. Expect a bit of a workout: there’s a steady climb of around 500 meters, though you’re rewarded with equally enjoyable descents and amazing panoramic views.

As you pedal, you’ll skirt the edge of the Czorsztyn Reservoir, with sweeping views of the Pieniny and Tatra mountains. Most of the journey is paved, but there are a few short sections with paving stones and the occasional missing surface, so a gravel or hybrid bike is ideal.
