By bicycle from Mokotów to Wola

This ride takes you from the leafy streets of Mokotów up to the lively district of Wola—two distinct yet equally vibrant neighborhoods in Warsaw. The route is just over 9 km, with most of it (about 87%) on paved, mostly asphalt surfaces, so it’s a smooth ride and friendly for most bike types.

You’ll spend the bulk of your journey on cycleways and quiet roads, weaving through some classic Warsaw scenery. Mokotów is known for its parks and elegant pre-war buildings, so take in the greenery as you start out—Pole Mokotowskie is a particularly nice spot if you want a little detour.

As you head north, the route rises a bit (around 67 meters of ascent), but nothing too steep. Before long you’ll reach Wola, a dynamic area with a mix of modern high-rises and historic sites reflecting Warsaw’s industrial past. Plenty of cafes and bakeries await if you need to refuel!
