By bicycle from Bialystok to Choroszcz

This ride takes you from the vibrant city of Białystok to the historic town of Choroszcz, stretching over about 15.4 km—perfect for an easy day trip or a relaxed weekend outing. You’ll start in Białystok, the largest city in northeastern Poland, known for its beautiful parks and buzzing cultural life. Most of the way follows smooth cycleways, with a good mix of paved surfaces and a few stretches of gravel to spice things up.

As you roll westward, expect gentle hills (about 60m of ascent and a little more descent) and plenty of fresh Podlasie air. The route winds past patches of countryside and through peaceful areas, making it great if you like a mix of sights and serenity.

Once you reach Choroszcz, take some time to explore its charming old center and the lovely Branicki Palace complex—once the summer residence of the Branicki family. If you fancy a picnic or a lakeside break, Choroszcz also borders the Narew River, known for its picturesque meanders.
