Quick ride by bicycle from Białołeka to Bielany

This is a nice, easy urban ride starting in Białołeka, a fast-growing residential district in northern Warsaw, and cruising down to Bielany, a leafy neighborhood known for its parks and relaxed vibe. You’ll mostly stick to smooth, paved cycleways (about 93% of the way!)—so it’s perfect if you want a low-stress route with minimal car traffic.

The distance is a friendly 5.4 km, so it won’t take much more than 20–30 minutes depending on your pace. There’s barely any climb—just about 23 meters of ascent—making it beginner-friendly. Most of the surface is solid asphalt, though you’ll hit a few stretches of paving stones and concrete. The ride ends in Bielany, close to Las Bielański, one of Warsaw’s magnificent urban forests—a great spot for a coffee break or a stroll.

Tip: If you’re riding in the afternoon, watch for a few busy crossings, but otherwise, enjoy the green views as you transition from the newer housing estates of Białołeka to the older charm of Bielany!
