By bicycle from Hansaviertel to Moabit

This relaxed 4 km ride lets you soak up two distinct Berlin vibes! Start off in the Hansaviertel, an architectural icon rebuilt for the 1957 Interbau exhibition, and cruise north towards the lively neighborhood of Moabit. It’s mostly smooth sailing on quiet roads and dedicated cycleways—perfect for a chill afternoon spin, with barely any hills to sweat over.

You’ll pass through plenty of tree-lined streets, and for a few blocks might spot some fascinating mid-century buildings. As you roll into Moabit, Berlin’s multicultural flair comes alive with bustling shops and cozy cafes. Expect almost all of the path to be paved (asphalt and paving stones for the most part), so any bike will do.
