Bikepacking from Sighișoara to Brasov

Ready for a seriously epic ride? This route takes you from the storybook town of Sighișoara—a medieval gem and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler—deep into the heart of Transylvania, finishing in the lively city of Brașov, known for its Black Church, gothic architecture, and buzzing old town.

You’ll cover roughly 244 km with nearly 4,500 meters of climbing, so expect everything from rolling hills to some hefty mountain gradients! The ride is full-on adventure: about 59% of the surfaces are uncharted, so be prepared for a mix of paved roads, gravel tracks, and classic countryside paths. It’s less about Lycra speed and more about soaking up those insane Carpathian views, tiny villages, and the occasional wandering sheep.
