Quick ride by bicycle from Neustadt/Nord to Neustadt/Süd

Here’s a lovely little ride through the heart of Cologne! Starting in the lively neighborhood of Neustadt/Nord, you’ll pedal about 5.8 km almost straight south down into Neustadt/Süd. Both areas have their own character: Neustadt/Nord is known for its cool bars, historic architecture, and the ever-buzzing Agnesviertel, while Neustadt/Süd is famous for student hotspots, bars, cozy cafés, and bustling nightlife around the Zülpicher Viertel.

The ride is almost entirely paved (so no worries about mud on your tires!). Most of your route follows quiet roads and paths, making it a relaxing city spin. You’ll cruise past gorgeous 19th-century facades and might want to stop by the beautiful Stadtgarten park or check out the Belgian Quarter’s little shops.

You’ll climb a total of about 36 meters (so, just a touch of effort here and there), finishing up at a similar elevation as you started. Great for an easy, scenic ride between two of Cologne’s most exciting districts!
