Elogio del passaggio a livello sulla Provinciale Buronzina

The level crossing in question is located about halfway along SP 63/316, known as "Buronzina", which connects Buronzo to SP 317. The route runs along its entire length between rice fields and an almost total tranquility. This calm characterizes actually the entire route, which winds mainly between one farmhouse and another. And it is precisely the indications of the farmhouses that serve as a compass for a correct "navigation" in this land at the edge between rice paddies and scraps of heathland, at the foot of the Biellese Alps.

You ride on flat terrain, half on asphalt and half on good gravel roads. A touch of adrenaline is provided by the crossing of the Torrente Rovasenda which, although not posing difficulties under normal conditions, is best surpassed with the bike in hand: a footbath is preferable to a fall.
