The roads to Ipswich are reasonable, not too busy. The section of Rt 133 between Ipswich and Glocuester is pretty nice; wide shoulder, not too much traffic. Rt 133 gets a little busy in Essex near Woodmans, but it's a scenic part of the ride. Downtown Gloucester is busy, but a short part of the ride.
