Organised by Southwark Cyclists
Start/finish at the Southwark Gateway Needle, south side of London Bridge.
This is a circular route from London Bridge to the Isikon Building in Belsize Park, the most famous Bauhaus building in London. A complex of 36 flats, it was opened in 1934 and was over time home to an array of famous Bauhaus members including Walter Gropius, the founding director of Bauhaus. Other famous residents were Agatha Christie and the famous spies Arnold Deutsch and Jürgen Kuczynski. The building includes the Isikon Gallery which showcases aspects of the minimalist flats, the specially designed furniture as well as information on its famous residents. The Isikon Gallery is free to visit on weekends, and a visit to this gallery will replace the otherwise usual coffee stop on this ride. The ride will be mainly flat, ca 20km
