The itinerary starts from the station of Alessandria and continues for a beautiful stretch on the bike path where the path ends at the bridge. After the bridge, you follow the Tanaro seeing fishermen's shacks; this stretch is unpaved! You proceed to Pavone with its castle, Pietra Marazzi, Montecastello, Rivarone always following along or a few meters from the Tanaro river. Here between Pavone and Rivarone there is an excellent view! After Rivarone, the road becomes decidedly busy, and the fields give way to the hills arriving at Piovera famous for its castle; from here the road starts to be unpaved until Lobbi. You continue to Castelceriolo, taking a little trafficked and narrow road - watch out! You merge onto the Bormida bridge, a very busy and dangerous stretch of road, and you arrive at Alessandria at the station. Medium easy itinerary.
