About This Route

Runde um den stillgelegten Flugplatz der RAF in Elmpt, weiter zum Elmpter Schwalmbruch und dem ehem. Munitionsdepot. Vorbei an der Schlucht, weißen Stein und den Schwalmauen. Die Strecke ist fahrtechnisch nicht übermässig anspruchsvoll, bietet aber ein paar kurze aber sehr steile Stücke (bis 25% teilw. Schotter).

Im Zuge der Verlängerung der A52 bis zur niederländischen Grenze wurde ein Bunker aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg in der Nähe der Trassenführung gefunden. Der Bunker wurde ausgegraben und in die Nähe der Sand/Kriesgrube Lenhensen "umgesiedelt".
