About This Route

From Cardross train station to Faslane roundabout along A814, right and to Green Kettle Roundabout, up road beside Loch Long and take a right into Glen Douglas (1 in 6 hill and about 3/4 mile long). Turn left at end of Glen Douglas (careful on narrow descent) onto A82. Go north and pass Tarbet and head towards Arrochar, turn at junction on entry to Arrochar and back down Loch Long to Green Kettle roundabout, right and along to Coulport base then around peninsula to Kilcreggan, back to garelochead and back on main roads to Cardross.
