Gravel Moselle - Griscourt - Blanzey

Go to Clairlieu and turn right at the entrance to the town. Follow the forest paths through the Massif de Haye to emerge at Velaine-en-Haye.

Cross the village, then turn left and follow the bike path that descends toward the Moselle. At Aingeray, pass under the SNCF line and continue along the Moselle (bike path) until you reach the lock. Cross the bridge over the Moselle and take the bike path back the other side of the river.

Veer right (steep climb on a forest road), then follow the Tranchée de Saizerais until you reach the village of the same name. In the village, turn left and follow the small roads to Villers-en-Haye and then Griscourt (entry into the Petite Suisse Lorraine).

Cross the village and follow the D107 towards Jezainville. Leave the road at the Roche aux Loups, take the small footbridge over the river, then follow the path to Dieulouard. Head down towards the town center, turn left and immediately right (D10).

Cross the Moselle, then the highway, and continue straight towards Ville-au-Val. You arrive at the D44A, which passes over Morey (sign 'château de Morey') and continues to climb towards Custines. Depart from the departmental road to a forest path on the left and enter the Bois Domanial de la Rumont. Very steep descent on a bad path down to Faulx.

Take the old green way to Montenoy, then climb (very steep) in Bois de Faulx. Follow forest roads to the Romanesque church of Blanzey (quite remarkable capitals for the region).

From Blanzey, climb to Bouxières-aux-Chênes and follow a poor road that reaches Amance from behind (less steep than the direct road). Cross Amance, descend towards Laître-sous-Amance, then follow the green path of Amézulle that you leave to arrive at Agincourt.

Climb (road then path) towards Butte Ste. Geneviève until the entrance to Dommartemont, then follow the high path to reach the heights of Essey-lès-Nancy. Descend towards Essey and enter Nancy from St. Max.

This is a nice loop that mixes paths and roads and accumulates quite a bit of elevation (1400m) over 90km.
