About this route
Sie fahren von Köfering durch das „Kalte Tal“ nach Erlheim und auf malerischer Strecke durchs Taubenbachtal, vorbei an der Ruine Rossstein. Zwischen Theuern (Ostbayerisches Bergbau- und Industriemuseum/Bayerische Eisenstraße) und Rieden (Schwimmbad/Camping) können Sie auf dem Fünf-Flüsse-Radweg (alte Bahntrasse) im Tal bleiben oder auf unbefestigten Wegen über Ebermannsdorf (Schloß-/Burgruine) nach Diebis und Thanheim die abwechslungsreichere Route wählen. Mit Übernachtung in Schmidmühlen (staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort/18-Loch Golfplatz/Heimatmuseum/Oberes Schloß mit Renaissancefresken) lässt sich die Tour auch auf zwei Tage ausweiten. Hinweis: Forststrecken z.T. nicht beschildert!
