About This Route

This ride by far had the best scenery of this trip. Wonderful riding through these mountains, most with very steep sides with the roads running along beautiful rivers or streams. The road shoulder was generally pretty good, though, the rumble strips along with the more than moderate traffic noise stressed my wife out some. There was of course plenty of climbing, but the slope really didn't rival what we’d climbed on the ride from Hope to Sunshine Valley. About 24 miles into the ride, we passed Allison Pass at 1342M. From there, it was an easy downhill to Manning Park Resort.
