von Graz aus endlang des Murradwegs nach Andritz > Richtung St. Radegund > bei GH "Hexenkessel" nach links, nach 100m nochmals links in den Erdbergweg > bergauf und beim Bauernhof nach links Richtung Hohenberg (durch kleines Wäldchen) > Römerweg Richtung St. Radegund > bei Kreuzung nach links in die Ehrenfelsstraße > bei den Postkästen links hinein und an der Ostseite des Zwölferkogels bis zur alten Mautstraße > links bergauf (Asphalt) > bei Wallerhütte hinein > nach rechts Weg 730 bergauf > nach Gatter rechts auf dem Forstweg in den Wald > wieder auf der Mautstraße bergauf und geradeaus Richtung Ostgipfel > vom Ostgipfel zur Bergstation und Stubenberghaus > Westgipfel/Gipfelkreuz > Wanderweg Westgipfel hinunter (steil!) > wieder beim Gatter, Weg 730 hinunter bis zum Steingraben > auf Asphaltstraße Richtung hohe Rannach > vor GH Martinelli links nach Kalkleiten > rechts durch den Falschgraben (Gustls-Trail) nach Stattegg > retour nach Graz durch Andritz und entlang des Murradwegs
