Plecare din parcarea Manastirii Curtea de Arges, iar dupa 800m pe traseul indicat, imediat dupa pod, pe stanga este un izvor cu apa foarte buna de baut de unde va puteti alimenta.

Se continua pe DN73c pana la barajul Vidraru.

In localitatea Capataneni se gasesc ultimele magazine de unde puteti face alimentarea cu ce aveti nevoie.

La barajul Vidraru se  face stanga prin tunel pe drumul forestier spre Cabana Cumpana, iar dupa vreo 7 km, se iese la asfalt unde se continua pana sus la cabana Capra.

Intoarcerea se face integral pe asfalt pana la Curtea de Arges.
