Pittsburg, CA BART Station to West Sacramento

Flat, paved roadway the entire trip.  Traffic along the river can sometimes be a little heavy, but have never had a problem with discourteous drivers.  Often good tailwinds traveling in the Sacramento direction, facilitating time and speed.  On the other hand, the westerly return trip can run into headwinds.  Most of the time they are not so bad, but can -- if strong -- require additional effort to maintain a descent speed.  Bring water when humidity is high.
