About This Route

2-ter Versuch die Strecke von Wien nach Schladming an einem Tag zu bewältigen. Beim ersten Versuch gescheitert. Endpunkt war damals Mariazell. Abfahrt war um 5:00 Uhr, Ankunft in Mariazell um 11:30 Uhr.

Diesmal Abfahrt um 3:40 Uhr, Ankunft in Mariazell um 12:00 Uhr. Weiterfahrt um 12:30 Uhr mit Ende der Fahrt in Hieflau um 15:30 Uhr. Grund für den Abbruch diesmal waren Kopfschmerzen an einem der heißesten Tage des Jahres verbunden mit Wassermangel (keine offenen Geschäfte und kaum Bäche um immer wieder frisches Trinkwasser, das sehr schnell in der Flasche aufgeheizt war, zu erhalten.

Gefehlt haben noch 100 km bis nach Schladming.
