About This Route

Man steigt langsam aber stetig mit leichten "Wellen" zwischen durch auf die beiden höchsten Punkte an (deshalb eher flach bei der Steigungsangabe).

Bei ca. Km 38 gibt es einen Aussichtspunkt am linken Straßenrand mit schönem Blick ins Ahrtal (unbedingt einmal kurz anhalten und genießen). Ab Km 63 kann man dann gut rollen lassen (langgezogene Abfahrt).

Wer noch Kraft für eine ordentliche Steigung hat, der biege hinter Kreuzberg (bei ca. Km 49) rechts nach Ober-/Unterkrählingen ab. Dann Freisheim, Berg, Todenfeld. Hinter Todenfeld links und man kommt wieder auf die ursprüngliche Route.
