About This Route

A view km before Kandanos (at about km 50) I did a deviation on the way to Paleochora, that leads you through the beautiful Kandanos Gorge and an old road towards Kandanos. The road is unpaved/gravel, so you'll need a MB or trekking bike for it. But if you don't take this deviation, the route is perfect for a racing bike, and that's why I marked it as such.

Athough there are various ups and downs (not clearly shown on the elevation profile, but they are there!), a total vertical climb of over 2000m seems too much... I gues that it rather is about 1600-1700m.

It took me aout 4h to get to Paleochora and 4h30min to get back
