About this route
Schöne Route auf bzw. neben dem Wümmedeich, jedoch an Wochenenden auf der Bremer Seite oft stark besucht. Hier führt die Strecke direkt auf dem Deich entlang und bietet wunderbare Blicke auf den Fluss. Auto fahren ist nur für Anlieger möglich. An der nördlichen Route dürfen teilweise Autos fahren. Meistens sind jedoch nur wenige unterwegs, dann in Richtung der Restaurantes.
Um die Wümme zu überqueren kann man von Mai bis September sich (einschl. Fahrrad) zur Gaststätte "Zur Schleuse" mit einer kleinen Fähre übersetzen lassen.
